We love exploring the ocean of products out there. We are veritable makeup junkies and have tried (nearly) everything imaginable. We do not believe that just because a product is expensive that it will be incredible - nor do we believe that because a product is inexpensive that it will not be incredible. Here are our all-time favorites across the spectrum! Some products are already well known. Others aren't but should be in our opinion.

Benefit Hoola Bronzing Powder, retail $40
Hoola is an ideal bronzer if you want a natural-looking glow. It is a true matte brown with no hint of orange and no shimmery additives. It's the perfect powder for contouring or dusting on a sunkissed glow without screaming teenie bopper.

Too Faced Candlelight Powder, retail $30
Fans of this product already know what a great job it does as a finisher but we also love using it to set undereye makeup with a fluffy powder pouf. Its soft golden hue helps veil dark circles while finely- milled mica diffuses crows feet and highlights cheekbones.

Chanel Joues Contraste Powder Blush, retail $45
Everyone knows about Nars Orgasm (and we love it too) but we doublelove these über-flattering powder blushes by Chanel. The colors are gorgeous and have just enough finely-milled shimmer to impart a luminous, sophisticated glow. Bonus: they smell fantastic.
Pixi Eye Bright Liner #1 in nude, retail $12
This nude liner is intended for the inner lash line to open and brighten the eyes. However, it also works great as a precision concealor. Apply it on tiny spots, at the dark corners of the mouth or any area that need precision concealing. Bonus: the waterproof formula stays put.
Maybelline Baby Lips lip balm, retail $3 - $4
Don't let the bright colors of these emollient lip balms deter you. These yummy balms melt onto lips leaving them quenched and smooth. Available in 6 sheer formulations, this buttery bargain balm should be a staple in every makeup bag.
Pixi Correction Concentrate, retail $12
Ever considered what you would most want on a desert island? (Aside from food, water and a volleyball?) This full-coverage concealor brightens and awakens the areas where it is applied. Dab it on eyelids as a brightening primer, over blemishes, along laugh lines, around the nose...What the heck - Just dip your face in it.
